Works cooperatively with other departments/leadership of the hospital in coordination with the Region Professional Practice Lead (PPL). Ensures Interior Health policies and procedures are implemented and followed. Provides technical guidance to laboratory staff in conjunction with the Technical Specialists. Mentors, coaches and facilitates workplace solutions, and promotes continuous learning amongst staff. Coordinates the implementation of processes and procedures, standards, goals and objectives in conjunction with designated PPL and Technical Specialist to ensure consistency within Interior Health, Ensures accreditation and safety standards are maintained. This is a Permanent Full Time (1.00) opportunity. Qualfications • Medical Laboratory Technologist with current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS) • Minimum of three (3) years’ recent experience as a general duty technologist in a medical laboratory • Minimum of one (1) year recent leadership experience • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the facility
