Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Holdrege, Nebraska (68949) – Nebraska healthcare job Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Shift: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week; 12-hour rotating shifts; on-call 4 nights/month and every 5th weekend; included in holiday call rotation Type: Travel RN, On-Site Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100 - $2250 PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or diploma) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PACU nursing or Operating Room (OR) nursing Ability to participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled PACU RN Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs in PACU and OR settings Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Safely administer medications and treatments, following the "Five Rights of Medication Administration" Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-operative care Assist the Operating Practitioner and CRNA during surgical procedures Participate in sterilization, stocking, and case set-up for surgical cases Prepare and clean rooms, instruments, and supplies for patient safety Perform circulating nurse and scrub nurse duties as assigned Assist in Sterile Processing and endoscopy as needed Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients and healthcare staff Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing professional development Apply now to join our healthcare team as a PACU Registered Nurse in Holdrege, Nebraska, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
