Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Davenport, IA (52803) – Quad Cities Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 or 48 hours available Assignment Duration: 8-13 weeks Start Date: ASAP or as agreed Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1800-$1930 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Iowa or compact state BLS certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS certification (required prior to first shift) Minimum two (2) years of recent bedside clinical experience in Med/Surg or critical care Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission Develop and implement individualized care plans; collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate Initiate and coordinate patient teaching and discharge planning Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and procedures Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team and seek consultation as needed Contribute to positive unit teamwork and participate in team-building activities Maintain professional growth through continuing education and self-study Apply now to join our healthcare team for this rewarding Med/Surg RN travel nursing job in Davenport, Iowa!
