Job Description To ensure the hotel’s financial goals and objectives are achieved by ensuring that all accounting and control procedures are in place in accordance with the company policy and local requirements and regulations. Enforces, documents and establishes effective controls for all revenues, expenses and protection of assets. Maintains accurate and timely financial and operating information and provides analysis, interpretation and projections to management. Co‑ordinates and assists department heads in the preparation and implementation of the hotel’s annual business plan. Controls capital and FF&E expenditure to ensure compliance with justifications and approvals. Implements and maintains effective accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policy; generally accepted accounting principles and local legal requirements and regulations. To implement all necessary controls to safeguard the assets of the hotel and to maintain records for the fixed assets, operating equipment, supplies and inventories. Key Requirements 3 or more years experiences as Hotel Director of Finance or Financial Controller position and previous management experience a plus, with hotel finance experiences of the hotel in Singapore. Relevant degree/ professional diploma in Accounting/ Finance. Experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance, and managing audits. Strong financial planning, monitoring, and controlling abilities to maximize profitability of the hotel through benchmarking/best practices. Proven ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues, drive process improvements, and make data‑driven decisions. Ability to handle balance sheet reviews & compliance with policies and procedures and local GAAP for the hotels. Good interpersonal skills required. Interacts principally with colleagues, owners and occasionally with guests. Excellent English language skills. Strong communication skills.
