Health & Safety Manager

What We Offer: * A key leadership role in a growing, sustainability-focused company * Competitive salary with ongoing CPD and development opportunities * Supportive, collaborative team environment * Opportunity to work on impactful projects in the environmental sector Key Responsibilities: * Lead health & safety strategy ensuring full compliance with UK legislation, including WEEE and HSE standards * Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations * Develop and maintain safe systems of work and COSHH compliance * Deliver engaging training and health surveillance programmes * Liaise with regulators and maintain up-to-date HSE policies What We’re Looking For: * NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (preferred) * 3-5 years’ experience in health and safety management within technical, waste, or industrial sectors * Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation including RIDDOR, PUWER, and COSHH * Confident communicator capable of fostering a safety-first culture Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK’s leading logistics companies.
