Second Chef - Care Home Location: Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 8SQ Hours: 30 hours per week - Days (alternate weekends required) Pay: £13.99 per hour We are proud to be working with one of the biggest independent care providers in the UK. They are seeking an experienced second chef to join their care home in Stoke on Trent. Are you a qualified Chef looking to work with fresh seasonal food, with the opportunity to have more of a work-life balance and make what you do matter? What youll do: Assist the Head Chef with menu creation Manage the kitchen in their absence Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes cooked at the highest quality and standards Create a warm, efficient and fun environment Work within budget Complete regular audits Manage stock control Essential Criteria: Qualified Chef (City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent) Experienced with fresh, seasonal food Able to cater for large numbers and different dietary requirements Passionate about cooking and resident wellbeing Desirable Criteria Catering experience within a care home environment What We Offer £13.99 per hour 30 contracted hours per week A warm and supportive care home team Ongoing training and development Generous rewards package Interested?
