KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Chef to work with our client based in Peterhead . This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and professional Chef to join a busy kitchen team, supporting high-quality food preparation and service in a well-established environment. As a chef you will be asked to work 06:00 until 18:00 with a pay rate of £16.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Maintain all kitchen areas to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene . Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to the daily menus. Complete advance meal preparation for the following day's menu. Assist with receiving, checking, and storing food deliveries , ensuring quality, quantity, and temperature compliance. Carry out stock checks and rotation , minimising waste. Accurately complete all necessary documentation and records as part of the food safety management system. Assist in general kitchen cleaning to maintain a safe and hygienic work area. Report any equipment faults or breakages immediately to the Kitchen Supervisor. Maintain excellent personal hygiene and presentation standards , including clean chef whites at all times. About You Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant in a professional catering environment. Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (Level 2 Food Safety Certificate desirable). Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong teamwork, organisation, and communication skills.
