Senior Site Manager – Major Cardiff Development We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a landmark construction project in the heart of Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-profile, large-scale hotel development valued at around £40 million. As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading on-site operations, ensuring programme, quality, safety, and compliance targets are achieved while supporting the wider project leadership team. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth delivery against programme and quality standards. * Manage subcontractors, site operatives, and logistics to maintain efficient progress. * Drive health & safety culture across all areas of the site. * Work closely with Project and Contracts Managers to ensure deadlines and budgets are met. * Build strong relationships with stakeholders, consultants, and the wider project team. About You: * Proven track record as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a recognised main contractor. * Experience on major schemes (£20m) – ideally within steel frame construction (preferred but not essential). * Strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and manage teams effectively. * A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach. * Committed to delivering excellence on high-profile projects.
