Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina (Zip: 28304) Healthcare Setting: Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center Assignment Type: Travel RN job Unit: 3 NORTH B - Med/Surg Tele Start Date: November 3, 2025 End Date: February 2, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 4x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1660-$1700 Patient Ratio: 1:5-6 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Charting System: Epic Scrub Color: Royal blue and white Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Experience with Epic charting system required Willingness to float within scope to meet healthcare facility needs Must pass Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance Travel nurses must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year Only one contract extension allowed for day shift travel nurses Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in a busy hospital setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Float to similar nursing units as needed to support hospital staffing Experience the vibrant culture and southern hospitality of Fayetteville while advancing your nursing career in one of North Carolina's top medical centers.
