CVOR RN Job Details Location: Winston Salem, NC 27103 (North Carolina healthcare job) Facility Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Contract Length: 13-week travel nursing contract Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday - Friday, 06:30 - 17:00) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130 - $2180 Call Requirement: 10 days/month, including one weekend/month Orientation: 36 hours (scrubs provided) Unit Details: 3 CVOR rooms, serving adults & geriatric patients CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (required at start) Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience BCLS certification (required) Experience circulating and scrubbing in the CVOR (required) CNOR certification (preferred for cardiovascular OR nurses) Epic charting experience (preferred) Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed Comfortable working with adult and geriatric surgical patients CVOR RN Responsibilities Deliver skilled nursing care in the CVOR, including circulating and scrubbing for complex cardiovascular surgeries Assist with advanced procedures: Aortic and Mitral Valve repairs, CABG, TAVR, Thoracotomy, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, and more Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and patient transport Utilize PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR for clinical documentation and patient care Participate in on-call rotation (10 days/month, including one weekend) Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including flu vaccination requirements Promote a safe, efficient operating room environment for adult and geriatric patients Take the next step in your travel nursing career with this high-demand CVOR Registered Nurse job in Winston Salem, NC.
