Golf Cart Mechanic - Part Time

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a PART TIME Golf Cart Mechanic to join our team at our Ponder, TX location! This position will be responsible for electric vehicle repairs, modifications and services. Mechanical abilities necessary, golf cart experience is a plus but not required. Will train. Knowledge required: Mechanical system knowledge, similar to automobiles Brake shoe and hub replacement Suspension experience Automatic tire machine a plus General troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues Looking for motivated team member who takes initiative in completing all tasks needed to keep shop operational. Company Description Mulligan Carts specializes in rebuilding and servicing golf carts to meet customer specifications. We have a wide range of services including general maintenance, performance and appearance modifications of electric golf carts, UTVs, ATVs and eBikes. About Us In 2016, my obsession with customizing golf carts began. I bought my first two golf carts, and immediately began tearing them down to the last bolt to understand how they work, and how they could be made better. I experimented with features, performance, and custom parts to make the carts fun and functional, and to solve many of the shortcomings of stock golf carts. Friends and neighbors in our golf cart community took notice, and started asking me to do customizations on their carts. A few friends with similar interests joined me, and our hobby grew into a business. Our business continued to grow at a rapid pace, so we decided to make it official. Mulligan Carts LLC was formed in 2022, and we began building our distributor network, buying additional tools and equipment, adding a warehouse, and creating a large inventory of carts and parts. Our SW Denton County community is growing rapidly, and the demand for golf carts is growing along with it. Northlake allows golf carts on all roads with a speed limit of 35 MPH or less. They are quickly becoming a preferred method of transportation for dining out, shopping, community pools, gyms, recreation areas, school, daycare, and visiting friends and neighbors. Due to their improved performance and range, they are also becoming more and more popular with RV owners, campers, hunters, tugs for small aircraft, and neighborhood explorers. Our facility is located in Ponder, Texas, and is a full service shop, with custom built golf carts in stock at all times. We are obsessed with quality and offer service for Southwest Denton County. We continue to set up authorized dealerships for all major brands in order to offer competitive prices.
