Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Administer chemotherapy, IV therapies, and manage side effects. Monitor vital signs, lab results, and patient responses to treatment. Collaborate closely with oncologists, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes. Respond promptly to emergencies or adverse reactions related to oncology care. Requirements of the Travel Nurse Valid Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
