Denver Nursing Job Details Location: Denver, Colorado 80204 (Colorado nursing jobs) Contract Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/16/2026) Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30) Hours per Week: 36 Unit: Labor & Delivery (High Risk, 15 beds, 3 ORs, Level 3 NICU) Patient Ratios: 1:2 Charting System: EPIC Employment Type: Travel nursing job Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2130 - $2190 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active Colorado or Compact RN license Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (all AHA-issued) EPIC charting experience preferred Ability to triage patients from 14 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum Willingness to float based on clinical experience Compliance with pre-employment drug screening (including THC panel) COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Triage and provide care for high-risk antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients Circulate in 3 operating rooms and perform PACU recoveries Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk obstetric procedures Deliver breastfeeding and lactation support Monitor and manage patients using external and internal fetal monitoring systems Administer medications and therapies, including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin drips Conduct assessments: APGAR scores, fundus/lochia/perineum care, edema/clonus checks Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response) Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC Experience the excitement of Denver healthcare while making a difference for mothers and newborns.
