ER RN Job Details – Manchester, CT Location: Manchester, Connecticut 06040 (Greater Hartford area) Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (ER) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job Start Date: November 10, 2025 End Date: February 9, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950–$2090 Patient Population: Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics Unit Details: 11 ER rooms plus 18 hallway beds for high census periods Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, eligible for Connecticut nursing jobs Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS COVID-19 vaccine and booster (medical/religious exemptions considered) Experience with Meditech charting system preferred Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 (subject to census and staffing) References and certification documentation required upon submission ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages Perform triage, rotate assignments, and assume charge nurse duties as needed Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias Initiate and maintain intravenous (IV) lines Utilize Meditech for accurate charting and clinical documentation Respond to a variety of emergency diagnoses, including chest pain, abdominal pain, and orthopedic trauma Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Discover the welcoming neighborhoods, local shops, and scenic trails of Manchester, CT, while advancing your ER nursing career.
