What You Will Experience In This Position Support several manufacturing processes to ensure equipment uptime, meet production goals and maintain high product quality. Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation (Routings, BOMs, Standard Work, and Work Instructions) for new and existing equipment in manufacturing. Find opportunities and lead projects to improve productivity, reduce costs, improve quality and achieve on time delivery to meet production needs. Lead new equipment financial justifications, installations, process modifications and improvements. Work with operators, team leaders, value stream managers, and planners to optimize process center layouts and designs incorporating material flow and line balancing. Work with maintenance and operators to fix equipment problems. Coordinate with Product Development to successfully launch new products into high-volume manufacturing. Champion Lean Manufacturing across the plant through cross‑functional events and continuous improvement projects. You Have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Ideally 2 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related field. Familiar with statistical methods, 6‑sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers. Self‑motivated and ability to motivate others. Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving abilities. Proficient use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. Experience in machining preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and 3D Modeling desirable. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) is helpful. Lean manufacturing background and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
