Job Title: Cook Location: Vancouver (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour About the Role We are hiring a motivated and skilled Cook on behalf of our client, a busy food service establishment in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will prepare and cook a variety of menu items, maintain high food quality and safety standards, and support smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature, quality, and presentation standards. Assist with daily prep work, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients. Quality & Safety Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace. Monitor food storage and expiration dates to minimize waste. Team Collaboration Work closely with kitchen staff and supervisors to ensure timely service. Assist with training new kitchen team members as needed. Operational Support Manage inventory and report supply needs. Follow opening and closing kitchen procedures. Adhere to all company policies and health regulations.
