Primary Responsibilities: Strong business acumen with the ability to elicit business requirements from a variety of stakeholders and represent the voice of the business and the customer Collaborates primarily with stake holders, scrum teams and other stakeholders to identify and close product gaps. Lead sessions to create gap analysis documentation Partner with various stakeholders/internal team to extract gaps and opportunities to be converted into the product backlog Experience writing requirements in the form of user stories with clear success criteria for QA and Development team Technical expertise to understand API specifications and create documentation Experience refining and clarifying requirements with both business and IT stakeholders by creating various artifacts such as process maps, wire frames, mockups, etc. Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading sessions (discovery, requirements) and presenting findings to all levels of the organization Ability to build trusted partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization Adequate technical acumen to communicate effectively with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs Lead grooming and clarification sessions to provide engineering, QA, and UAT teams detailed requirements to develop and test against Partner with Product Managers to execute on the product roadmap by working with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and create supporting artifacts Partner with user experience to translate UI design and research into actionable development ready user stories Partner with User Acceptance Testers to ensure the delivered product meets the business objectives and launch criteria Required Attributes: Experience working in airline industry with commercial airline products and airline technology solutions companies. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at a given time while remaining organized, paying strict attention to detail, and meeting critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment Provide business analyst support for large transformational projects through activities such as requirements workshops, process mapping exercises, and gap analysis, training Be proactive and utilize critical thinking to make the right decisions for our customers and business Experience and proven ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively with business and IT stakeholders and senior leadership. Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Education & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree is preferred Experience: 8 years of business analyst experience, preferably in Omnichannel or eCommerce/Point of sale applications. 4 years should be in the relevant airline solutions industry as Product Owner or Business Analyst is mandatory. Experience in implementing airline New Distribution Capabilities (NDC) is preferred Experience with MS Visio or similar workflow process tools. Experience with JIRA or similar tools preferred. Exceptional written and communication skills Experience working in agile delivery models preferred. Experience working with product management teams preferred.
