Driver / Yard Assistant (HGV Class 2) Location: Wellington Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £34,000 £36,400 per year Hours: Monday to Friday 45 hours per week The Role Youll be responsible for thedelivery and collection of cars and commercial vehiclesto and from customer sites, supporting our fleet operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience. When not out on the road, youll help maintain a tidy, safe yard and ensure vehicles are cleaned, valeted, and ready for use. Key Responsibilities Deliver and collect vehicles safely to and from customer sites. Complete all required vehicle checks, paperwork, and condition reports. Carry out MOT deliveries, collect parts, and assist with basic defect repairs. Wash, steam-clean, and valet vehicles as required. Maintain a clean, organised yard environment. Follow all Health & Safety procedures and use PPE as provided. Represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service. What Were Looking For Essential: HGV Class 2 Licence and Driver Qualification Card (less than 6 points). Reliable, professional, and customer-focused. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Flexible, team-oriented approach to work. Desirable: Previous experience washing or maintaining commercial vehicles. Why Join Us?
