Housing Benefit Project Lead

A reputable organisation is seeking an experienced Housing Benefit Project Lead to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Housing Benefit Project Lead: Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract Location: Flexible, with office attendance required once every two weeks. Responsibilities of a Housing Benefit Project Lead; Lead and manage the delivery of housing benefit projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks and internal policies. Oversee the processing and management of housing benefit claims, liaising with tenants, local authorities, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues relating to housing benefits and tenancy support. Ensure timely and accurate reporting on housing benefit claims and project progress. Provide expert guidance to staff and stakeholders, ensuring best practices in housing benefit processing and project management. Requirements: At least 5 years' experience in housing benefit management or a related housing support role. Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver results within deadlines. Strong understanding of housing benefit regulations, welfare reform, and related compliance issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and internal teams.
