ICU Nursing Job Details Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) – Treasure Valley Healthcare Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Critical Care Unit Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: November 1, 2025 End Date: May 2, 2026 Contract Duration: 26 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:00pm), every other weekend Floating: Required to float to other ICUs in Meridian and Nampa; may float outside ICU as a 1:1 sitter Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting Active Idaho RN license Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Proficient in titrating critical care drips (Dopamine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Cardene, Nitro, Neosynephrine, Vasopressin, Diltiazem, Insulin, Esmolol) Experience with Epic EMR charting system preferred Ability to read and monitor cardiac strips independently Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a combined MICU/SICU unit Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 Titrate and manage a wide range of critical care drips Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and CNAs Float to other ICU units within Treasure Valley as required Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient monitoring Take your ICU nursing career to the next level in Boise, Idaho—one of the top destinations for healthcare professionals.
