Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46804 (Indiana nursing jobs) Unit: Medical Surgical Telemetry (EXT-Other) Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm - 7:00am), every other weekend Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680-$1800 Patient Ratio: 5:1, occasionally 6:1 Number of Beds: 25 EMR: Cerner Scrub Color: Navy blue Floating: Required to other units as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Indiana RN license (Registered Nurse) BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience Proficient in IV starts, NG tube and Foley catheter placement Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) Nursing Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care for colorectal, bariatric, general surgery, GI, renal, and diabetes management cases Deliver wound care and ostomy management Monitor patients on telemetry and respond to changes in condition Perform accurate nursing assessments and documentation Initiate IVs, place NG and Foley catheters as needed Float to other units within the hospital as required Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
