Payroll Specialist - Splendido, a Belmond Hotel Portofino We are looking for a Payroll Specialist as a key team member in our Human Resources department, reporting directly to the HR Manager and working closely with the Assistant Manager and payroll team. This role is specifically tailored to support the unique environments of Splendido and Splendido Mare. Base Pay Range Competitive compensation with annual contract and immediate start date, according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4, Payroll Specialist. Annual Gross Salary € 25.000 - 27.000, with incentive based on quality goals. Key Responsibilities HR Administration and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records and provide general administrative support to the HR department; prepare reports related to HR metrics such as employee turnover and training completion rates. Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and administration, ensuring accuracy and timely payment for employees. Coordinating mandatory medical examinations and health surveillance. Checking pay slips in collaboration with Payroll supervisor. Special Projects: Participate in HR projects as assigned, contributing to initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in Human Resources or Hospitality Management is a plus. Experience: Prior experience in a structured, international organization is preferred; experience in the hospitality industry, particularly within luxury hotels or resorts, is highly desirable. Passion and Drive: Genuine enthusiasm for HR and a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic, fast‑paced environment like the luxury hospitality sector. Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a demanding, ever‑evolving setting. Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (additional languages are a plus). Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact positively with other departments. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS systems is advantageous.
