About the Role We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead hiring efforts at our advanced manufacturing facility in Piedras Negras. This position plays a key role in building the plant’s workforce during a period of growth and automation expansion. You will partner directly with operations, engineering, and HR leadership to attract and secure the best technical and production talent in the region. Key Responsibilities Own full-cycle recruiting for all plant positions, including production supervisors, maintenance technicians, process and quality engineers, EHS, and support staff. Partner closely with plant leadership to anticipate hiring needs, understand skill gaps, and align recruiting priorities with production schedules and capacity goals. Develop tailored sourcing strategies for the local labor market — leveraging trade schools, industrial parks, job fairs, and community partnerships. Conduct structured interviews and coordinate technical assessments with engineering and production teams. Manage all stages of the offer process, including compensation alignment and onboarding coordination with HR and Operations. Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and retention to identify improvement opportunities. Lead employer branding initiatives at the regional level to position the plant as a top employer in the manufacturing sector. Support continuous improvement in the recruitment process by integrating lean principles and HR system enhancements. Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, ensuring best practices in talent selection and workforce planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or a related field. 6 years of talent acquisition experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. IT recruiting experience will not be considered. Proven success recruiting for technical and skilled-trade roles (production, maintenance, quality, or process engineering). Strong business acumen and understanding of plant operations and production cycles. Experience working in lean manufacturing environments or global companies with continuous improvement cultures. Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels. Experience with ATS platforms and data-driven recruitment metrics. Fluent in English for interaction with global HR and leadership teams. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Piedras Negras, Coahuila (onsite position).
