F&B Supervisor - Golf Club

Food & Beverage Supervisor Overview A welcoming golf club in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the F&B Manager in the smooth daily running of the department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and ensuring members and guests experience warm, professional service at all times. Responsibilities Supervise, train, and motivate service and bar staff to uphold excellent standards. Oversee daily operations and assist the F&B Manager as required. Ensure efficient, attentive service and a friendly, member-focused atmosphere. Maintain cleanliness, stock control, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Assist with staff scheduling, shift reports, and basic administrative duties. Step into operational roles (bar, service, kiosk) when needed to support service flow. Requirements Previous experience in an F&B supervisory or similar hospitality role. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Sound knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and liquor regulations. Organised, energetic, and able to work well under pressure. Computer literate (POS and MS Office). Own Transport an advantage Working Hours Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Active floor presence required during service periods.
