Financial Controller – Luxury Property Group (Sabi Sand, Greater Kruger) Salary: Negotiable DOE Live-in Position | 6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Work Cycle Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a prestigious luxury property group based in the Sabi Sand Private Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger. This is a live-in position offering a unique opportunity to work within one of South Africa’s most exclusive safari destinations. Package Includes: Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Accommodation and meals provided on-site 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off work cycle Key Focus Areas: Finance Administration: Complete month-end workbooks, including stocks and payroll, with accuracy and timeliness Ensure weekly banking tasks are completed timeously Monitor and correctly allocate all payments received Process and batch invoices for submission to head office Produce and review Debtors Age Analysis reports monthly Ensure open balances are followed up weekly Manage and sign off Petty Cash Ensure correct gratuity allocations and monthly payroll submissions Assist in compiling budgets and operational schedules Interpret and explain financial reports to General Management Support year-end audit preparations and processes Compile monthly financial reports and highlight key variances Provide financial training and ensure adherence to financial procedures Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with finance team members Approve and present financial packs to the support office finance team Produce variance reports for all budget overspends Stock Control: Ensure company Cost of Sales standards are met and incentives managed Oversee accurate and timely stock takes Ensure correct allocation of purchasing and sales Monitor Goods Received Vouchers and inventory accounts Submit daily income and expense reports to Operations Monitor daily sales balancing and stock PAR levels Maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy Control expenses and profit goals in line with departmental budgets Ensure inventory systems are up-to-date and within agreed parameters Requirements – Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification (advantageous) 3–5 years’ experience in senior hospitality finance or management roles Solid understanding of financial and stock control processes Proficiency in MS Office Suite Proven track record in achieving financial targets Experience in planning, budgeting, and departmental administration Ideal Candidate Profile: Strong attention to detail and high accuracy under pressure Professional, guest-focused approach aligned with luxury hospitality standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and creative problem-solving ability Flexible, adaptable, and committed team player Emotionally intelligent with the ability to receive and implement feedback Strong time management and organisational skills This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Financial Controller to make a meaningful impact within a world-class safari setting.
