Fleet Manager | Luxury Property Group | Namibia Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Manager to join a leading luxury property group in Namibia . This role requires a hands-on, proactive individual with strong mechanical expertise and proven management experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of fleet operations, ensuring minimal downtime, optimal maintenance standards, and efficient workshop and administrative procedures. Key Responsibilities: Fleet Management Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and plant equipment Maintain service schedules and ensure all vehicles are serviced to a high standard Minimise vehicle downtime and maximise workshop turnaround times Drive and test all vehicles post-service to ensure quality control Maintain guest-facing vehicles to high aesthetic standards Liaise with HODs and General Management on major repairs and costs Monitor and manage maintenance records, service logs and fuel usage Improve operational systems and reduce fleet downtime Collaborate with ranger trainers on driver training programmes Maintain clean, organised and fully stocked workshops Prepare budgets for current costs, forecasting and fleet replacements Ensure legal compliance for all fleet documentation Generators Oversee maintenance and servicing of all standby generators Ensure generators remain in optimal working condition Administration Perform monthly stock takes and submit recharges to the finance team Manage spares ordering and supplier invoicing Maintain and secure storerooms with accurate stock controls Record all data in QuickBooks and ensure alignment with vehicle records Back up digital records monthly Vehicle & Invoice Files Create and maintain accurate files for each vehicle and invoice set Ensure all licensing and legal documentation is up to date Workshop Staff Management Recruit, induct and manage all workshop staff Ensure employment documentation and HR processes are correctly followed Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate staff development Maintain discipline and adhere to company policies Organise staff meetings and update notice boards with relevant information Health & Safety Ensure all safety protocols are followed within the workshop Keep staff trained, equipped, and compliant with health and safety requirements Maintain clean and safe staff accommodation and workspaces Time & Leave Management Manage staff time books, leave cycles, and attendance records Skills & Attributes Required: Strong communication and organisational skills Lateral thinker with initiative and leadership qualities High integrity, proactive and career-driven Knowledge of hospitality operations and surrounding environments Confident working under pressure and as part of a team Attention to detail and ability to train others Qualifications & Experience Required: Formal mechanical qualification and trade test Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mechanical workshop 3–5 years’ management experience in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) Valid unendorsed driver’s licence and passport This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fleet Manager to join a dynamic team in a prestigious and remote setting.
