Head Ranger | Luxury Game Lodges | Eastern Cape Location: 45 minutes from Gqeberha / Port Elizabeth ⭐ Lodges: 4* 5* Luxury Safari Properties Salary: Negotiable from R25,000 Accommodation: Fully Provided Qualification: Trails Guide Required Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Ranger to lead the guiding team at an exclusive collection of luxury lodges within a renowned Big 5 Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape. This role requires a confident leader who is guest-focused, conservation-minded, and driven to uphold exceptional safari standards and unforgettable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and mentor the guiding team Deliver exceptional interpretive bush experiences, tailored to guests Oversee vehicle, equipment, and lodge-area maintenance standards Assist with training and development of trainee guides Ensure safety protocols and reserve regulations are adhered to Host guests and maintain outstanding levels of hospitality service Requirements Full Trails Guide Qualification (Non-negotiable) Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a guiding role in a Big 5 environment Previous experience in a senior or head ranger / leadership capacity advantageous Valid PDP, First Aid, FGASA & DEAT registrations up to date Strong communication & guest engagement skills Passion for wildlife, conservation, and guest connection Package & Benefits Competitive salary from R25,000 (negotiable based on experience) Complimentary on-site accommodation Opportunity to work in a well-established Big 5 reserve Growth & professional development support
