Assistant F&B Manager | Western Cape

is partnering with an Ultra-Luxury Lodge in the Western Cape to recruit a highly guest focussed & to join their team A luxury wilderness reserve and wellness retreat is seeking a guest-focused, detail-oriented Assistant Food & Beverage Manager with strong leadership presence and a flair for hospitality. The ideal candidate will support the F&B Manager in the daily running of the department, ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and memorable guest experiences. This is a live-in position based in a remote location, and ideally suited to someone passionate about nature, wellness, and refined service standards. ● Minimum 4 years’ experience in a 5-star establishment, with at least 2 years in an F&B supervisory/management role ● WSET level 1 or 2 advantageous ● Proficient in MS Office ● Experience with Point of Sale systems (Micros preferred) ● Stock control and stock management experience (FnBShop an advantage) ● Opera exposure advantageous ● Strong command of English (written & verbal) ● Solid understanding of food & beverage terminology and restaurant financials ● Hands-on experience with service recovery and guest interaction ● Stable work history and contactable references – To be discussed on application ➡️ – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
