Job Description

Promote luxury, service, and unforgettable experiences in one of Cape Town’s most iconic coastal destinations. A prestigious 5-star hotel in Hout Bay is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Executive to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in hospitality sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving business growth within the luxury travel and corporate market. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share. Identify and secure new corporate, leisure, and group business opportunities. Maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and key clients. Represent the hotel at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions. Conduct site inspections and showcase the property’s facilities to potential clients. Prepare and manage sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses. Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Reservations, and Events teams to maximise bookings and guest satisfaction. Ensure all sales activities reflect the hotel’s brand standards and service excellence. Minimum Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management. Minimum 3–5 years’ sales experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Excellent network within the Cape Town and international hospitality market (advantageous). Proficient in MS Office, PMS systems, and CRM tools. Well-presented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Driver’s licence and own reliable transport preferred.
