Job Description

PAUL NICOLWAY - BRYANSTON Is looking to hire a customer-oriented Restaurant Supervisor to ensure that all restaurant operations run smoothly. The Restaurant Supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of restaurant staff, waiting staff, expediting customers' orders as needed, and maintaining good working relationships with suppliers. You should also be able to identify ways to decrease the restaurant's operational costs. To be successful as a restaurant supervisor, you should exercise effective management skills. Ultimately, a top-performing restaurant supervisor should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that customers have a pleasant restaurant experience. Restaurant Supervisors Responsibilities: Managing restaurant staff's work schedules. Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service. Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked. Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service. Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner. Overseeing all front and back of the house restaurant operations Ensuring customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally Maintaining quality control for all food served Analyse staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer’s experiences Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports Train new and existing employees and provide ongoing training for all staff Addressing problems and troubleshooting Ensure that all the administrative functions are performed accurately, such as cash handling, credit card transactions, staff scheduling, filing Apply Below Restaurant Supervisor Requirements Matriculant Bachelor's degree or Diploma in hospitality is advantageous. Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to stand for extended periods, work shifts and has own transport. Strong management skills. Excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
