Our goal is to continue improving the lives of people everywhere, every day. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Digital Solution Architect to support our digital product teams. Your responsibilities include designing and evolving scalable, secure, and maintainable applications, defining target architectures, documenting current systems, and guiding development teams in best practices across the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with product owners and development teams to ensure our application frameworks are robust, future-proof, and aligned with business goals. You will be part of a dynamic, global team using leading technology to solve challenging problems and develop new business solutions and digital products. Application Architecture Leadership: Define and evolve target architecture for digital applications. Provide guidance and oversight during implementation. Conduct design reviews and code walkthroughs. Architecture Documentation: Create and maintain architecture diagrams, data flows, interface definitions, and integration points. Solution Design: Collaborate with product teams to design end-to-end solutions ensuring architectural consistency and scalability. Development Process Enablement: Support teams in establishing best practices in software design, modularization, code quality, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, monitoring, and operational readiness. Security & Compliance: Incorporate cybersecurity best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Who are we looking for Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5 years in solution or application architecture, with proven experience in cloud-native applications, microservices, event-driven architectures, API-first design, and cloud platforms like Azure. Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams. Architectural and Technical Skills: Strong experience with architecture modeling tools (UML), managing non-functional requirements, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, and programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, messaging systems like Kafka or MQTT, monitoring tools like Grafana, and security standards (OAuth2, OpenID). Soft Skills: Analytical problem-solving, excellent communication, pragmatic, hands-on approach, team-oriented, and goal-driven.
