Head Chef Position Available at a Leading Care Home- 4 days per week Are you a culinary expert with a passion for creating nutritious and delicious meals? A prestigious care home is seeking a dedicated Head Chef to lead its kitchen team and elevate the dining experience for its residents. Essential Skills and Experience: - Catering Experience: Proven experience in a catering environment. - Food Hygiene Certification: Intermediate or Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate. - Equipment Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of handling kitchen equipment, including knives. - Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a track record of achieving food margins. - H.A.C.C.P Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of H.A.C.C.P and its implementation. - Menu Planning: Experience in menu writing, planning, and costing. - Communication: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. - Caring Nature: Genuine interest in working within a caring environment. Desirable Skills: - Nutritional Knowledge: Previous experience working with nutritional information.
