Job Title: Private Homecarer - Sheffield (S10) Location: Sheffield, S10 Hours: 3–4 visits per week (flexible) Salary: Competitive The Role: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced homecarer to support a lovely lady in her own home in Sheffield (S10). She is independent with her daily basic needs but would benefit from support to enjoy enriching activities, attend social events, and pursue her passion for cooking. You will provide companionship and practical support, such as assisting with meal preparation and encouraging participation in hobbies, but no personal care is required. This is an ideal role for someone with experience in elderly care who enjoys fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. Key Responsibilities: * Provide companionship and social support. * Support the client with meal preparation and cooking, especially where standing for long periods is difficult. * Accompany the client to social events, activities, and outings. * Encourage engagement in hobbies and interests. * Maintain a friendly, safe, and supportive environment. Candidate Requirements: * Previous experience supporting older adults, preferably in a homecare or private setting. * Friendly, patient, and compassionate. * Ability to support independence while providing practical assistance where needed. * Flexible and reliable, with strong communication skills. Additional Opportunity: * The successful candidate will have the option to reside in a private cottage on the property for a very minimal monthly fee, although this is not a requirement.
