Estimator/Quantity Serveyor

Job Title: Experienced Fit Out Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Location: Yorkshire Salary: £50,000 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: We are looking for a commercially astute and experienced Fit Out Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This dual-role position offers the opportunity to be involved in both the pre-construction and commercial management phases of high-end fit out projects across sectors such as office, retail, hospitality, and leisure. Key Responsibilities: Estimating Duties: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fit out and refurbishment projects. Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce competitive bids. Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options. Quantity Surveying Duties: Manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variations. Monitor and control project costs to ensure profitability. Liaise with site teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure commercial success. Requirements: Proven experience in estimating and/or quantity surveying within the fit out or interiors sector. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and commercial practices. Proficient in estimating and QS software (e.g., ConQuest, Excel, Bluebeam). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
