We are seeking a commercially driven and technically confident Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead strategic growth across the UK’s electrical construction sector. This is a high-impact role focused on identifying and securing complex, high-voltage projects (11kV to 132kV), including private networks and grid connections. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping ESM Power’s presence in the energy transition space, driving business development in emerging technologies such as energy storage and renewable generation. You’ll lead client engagement, develop strategic sales plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless project delivery. Your ability to influence stakeholders, navigate regulatory frameworks, and close high-value deals will be key to expanding our portfolio and positioning ESM Power as a trusted partner in the industry. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth : Drive market engagement and brand visibility to unlock new opportunities. Client Development : Build strong relationships with developers, ICPs, DNOs/iDNOs, and consultants to secure new business and contracts. Sales Leadership : Lead bids, tenders, and commercial negotiations for complex, high-value projects. Market Intelligence : Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to inform strategy. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, design, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
