Gastroenterology Physician

Coverage Needed: 24 hour shifts: 12 hour in house coverage (2 sites, 6 miles apart) 12 hour off site night call Specific Dates: 11/26 7am to 12/1 7am Clinical Information: Support Staff: only Mon - Fri, not on weekends Hospital Support: PAs, RNs Practice Support: CMAs and PA Typical day: Scopes in the morning, generally start them at 8:00am, but call does start at 7am Then rounding(patient care) and see any consults that are called in Then to 2nd facility for the same thing. 2nd facility generally doesn't have as many scopes, and not as many patients to round on Then back to the hotel on evening pager Patient ages: Adult Standard services from GI physician expected Daily patient volume: 27 EMR: Meditech & PK eCW - Patient Keeper Gastro system: Provation Required: Board Certified Active SC License, CSR & DEA: DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active ERCP Required - No exceptions
