Job Description

Admin / Finance Manager (junior) required for a company based in East London Finance Management Manage financial records for an average monthly turnover of R10 million, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all transactions. Drive revenue growth and cost optimisation through effective financial planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement in decision-making processes. Oversee all financial management functions, including bank reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow management, cost of sales, creditors, debtors, financial reporting, gross profit analysis, and income statement preparation. Liaise with external accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions. Oversee capital management and investor interest payments, maintaining transparency and financial accountability. Improved historical bookkeeping accuracy through detailed investigation and reconciliation, ensuring error-free trial balance submissions prior to 2020. Ensure adherence to FIC cash reporting regulations. Operations Management Streamlined and automated business processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and time management across operations. Centralised administrative and operational functions to support improved coordination and productivity. Human Resources Lead and manage the administration team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth through mentoring and guidance. Ensure compliance with payroll, VAT, and all relevant regulatory requirements. Maintain compliance with workplace safety and labour regulations as set out by MIBCO, RMI, and MISA. Marketing and Brand Management Act as company representative at the Border Kei Chamber of Business, promoting positive stakeholder relationships and brand visibility. Drive brand awareness through advertising, promotions, and marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. Conduct marketing analysis based on customer engagement, demand trends, events, and sales performance to inform strategic planning. Develop and execute targeted monthly marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, customer incentives, design initiatives, and community outreach. Conceptualised, planned, and delivered diverse marketing and community events, including beach clean-ups, the October Beer Fest, and an annual Women’s Workshop — leading teams to successful execution and engagement outcomes.
