Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,186 per week in Pueblo, CO

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapy Specialty: Occupational Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current state licensure in occupational therapy required upon hire or within 3 months Certifications: BLS required, other certifications as mandated by state practice Must-Have: Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient rehab preferred. Prior use of electronic medical records preferred. Description: Responsible for providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders. Provides mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education. Applies appropriate diagnostic and prognostic testing for musculoskeletal, neurological, and neuromuscular conditions. Utilizes a variety of sensorimotor, neuromuscular re-educational, recreational, and social activities to foster patients' achievement of maximum independence in activities of daily living. Applies technical knowledge in rehabilitative activities tailored to patient's needs. Includes ADL training, home safety assessment and education, use of compensatory techniques and equipment, neuromuscular and sensory re-education, gross and fine motor coordination, evaluation and training, energy conservation, functional mobility, positioning, splinting, and hand therapy techniques. Demonstrates flexibility by floating to other areas and sites. Available to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and after hours. May require working overtime or in excess of 40 hours in a work week. Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks. Charting system utilized is Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient.
