Specialty OB/GYN State IA Location 1227 East Rusholme Street, Davenport, IA Requirements Genesis Medical Center Davenport is looking for Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist physicians to cover WEEKDAY and weekend shifts!Schedule:NO OVERTIME.Facility will allow for 24-hour 8a-8a shifts and/or 12-hour shifts 8a-8p depending on the candidate's preferenceShift Details: MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MON-FRI WITH SOME WEEKENDS AS WELL. 24 hour Call at a flat rate inclusive of all hours worked with a nice sleep room on-site OR 12 hour Call at a flat rate inclusive of all hours workedPractice Setting: OB amp GYN in Hospital 24 hours of coverageDetails:Trauma Level/Designation: level 3Call Schedule: available 1-2 months in advanceCall Ratio: 1:5Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: On call work onlyNumber of Physicians in Practice: 4Will Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates: not typicallyHow Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1-2 CNMOnsite Lab amp Ultrasound: YesDescribe Support Staff: Labor amp Delivery post partum OR ERPercentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 40Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 60Percentage of Patients are C-Section: this depends on the physicianAverage Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 2-5Documentation System/EMR: CERNEREstimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days depending on speed of applicantWhen Locums is on call they will most likely have a resident on call with themMercyOne Genesis OB/GYN Coverage duties:Triage and deliver Genesis OB patients Average 65-80 deliveries a monthCover Genesis ER calls for OB/GYNRounding on Genesis patients on unitCover No doc patients Approx 1 or less per dayCircumcisions if able Not mandatory24 hour call shift in house- will consider 12 hours in house if we can find additional locumRequired Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy i.e. History of Twins Toxemia Pyelonephritis etc.High Risk Pregnancy i.e. with Toxemia Diabetes Class II or Higher Cardiacs Chronic Lung Problems Chronic Renal Disease etc.FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSEOB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I/Screening ViabilityAmniocentesisRequired Labor and Delivery Procedures: Routine Delivery –Vaginal Low Forceps Decision-Making for C-SectionComplicated Delivery –C-Section Breech Multiple Births Abruptions etc.VBAC’sRepair of 3rd amp 4th Degree LacerationsRequired Gynecology Procedures: Surgical Gynecology – OpenLaparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation LOA’s Chromal TubationOperative/Major Includes Diagnostic – Ectopic Pregnancy Ovary Removal Cystectomy Extensive LOA’sFacility Reimbursement:FlightHotelRental CarBill Rates needed for submission:OrientationHourly 354 rate capHoliday HourlyNO Overtime24 Hour On Call flat fee per 24 hours to hold pager w/ 24 hours gratis - 8500 cap.
