Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Portland, OR 97210 – Oregon nursing jobs Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract Start Date: December 17, 2025 Shift: 4x12 hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:30), variable days Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Coverage: Occasional weekends as needed Charting System: Epic EMR Parking: Free in any unrestricted space Estimated Weekly Salary: $2180-$2340 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application/fingerprints at submission (pending license accepted with documentation) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Previous travel nursing experience required Level I Nursery and LDRP experience required Experience circulating for C-sections and providing postpartum care BLS and NRP certifications required Epic charting experience required Must be willing to float within scope as needed Locals not accepted (must live more than 50 miles from any Legacy facility) References: 1 Charge, Supervisor, or Manager reference required (preferably within the last year) Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns, including triage, vaginal and C-section deliveries, and postpartum care Assist with high-risk deliveries, newborn resuscitation, and stabilization Circulate and scrub for C-sections as needed Educate and support patients and families on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and social services Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR Adhere to all facility policies, including mandatory education and compliance modules Float within the facility and across the system as required Experience rewarding travel nursing opportunities in Portland, Oregon, and make a difference in a top-rated Labor & Delivery unit.
