Opportunity: RN - Acute Med Surg Adult Acute Care Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts with weekend rotation requirements • Must participate in call rotation schedule, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed for staffing • Call shifts may replace guaranteed hours for that week when requested • Provide comprehensive nursing care to acute care and observation unit patients • Care for patients with ortho surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses • Utilize specialized knowledge of critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care • Minimum 2 years of Acute Care/Med Surge/Telemetry or similar RN experience required • Current Colorado RN license required • Required certifications: Current BLS (American Heart Association), Current ACLS (AHA) • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from facility • Must provide resume, Nursys license copy, skills sheet, BLS and ACLS certifications, and proof of flu vaccine Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a growing census due to increased orthopedic surgeries and hybrid cath lab procedures.
