Job Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician at Parker Indian Medical Center Location: Parker, AZ Community Size: Approximately 7,850 patients served Attachment Area: Surrounding area in Arizona and Colorado Tribes: Colorado River Indian Tribes Average of patients/day: 12-20 (day shift), 10-15 (night shift) EHR System: RPMS Nearest Major Airport: Kingman Airport (1 hr 50 min drive) About the Facility and Area: The Parker Indian Health Center (PIHC), located next to the Colorado River, serves as the headquarters of the Colorado River Service Unit. This 17-bed Critical Access Hospital offers general medical services to American Indian/Alaskan Native communities, with specialty outpatient services on-site or through referrals. PIHC serves approximately 7,850 patients and is situated near various recreational activities like boating, fishing, hiking, and cycling. Responsibilities: Clinic Services: Lab, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Suturing, Pharmacy, EKG, Emergency Room, Minor Surgery, Pediatric and Adult/Geriatric care Specialty Services: Behavioral Health, Dental, Pediatrics, Emergency, Rheumatology, OBGYN, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Podiatry, and more Support Staff available during shifts Shifts: 12 hours day/night (7 AM to 7 PM / 7 PM to 7 AM) Job Requirements: Staff the Emergency Department and provide comprehensive care Participate in quality improvement and patient safety projects Collaborate with other healthcare professionals ABEM or ABFM certification, with ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications Three or more years' experience in Emergency Medicine Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any US state or territory Committed to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners Compensation and Benefits: Competitive compensation and flexible career options Malpractice coverage, including tail insurance Supportive community of social medicine practitioners About Arc Health: Arc Health is a mission-driven social benefit healthcare enterprise, actively seeking providers to serve rural, underserved, and Tribal communities.
