Trainer Cleaning Food Safety

What youll be doing Conduct daily site visits and hands-on training for cleaning staff with a focus on food safety and hygiene compliance Deliver orientation, refresher, and site-specific training aligned with HACCP and food safety standards Implement and monitor training programs and SpecCon learning modules to ensure operational excellence Evaluate employee performance post-training and provide actionable feedback to improve hygiene and food safety compliance Identify training gaps and recommend interventions to continuously improve staff competence Support succession planning by identifying and developing high-performing employees ("superstars") Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and submit timely reports Conduct OHS checks, audits, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations Perform equipment inspections and operational readiness checks to ensure hygiene standards are met Ensure strict adherence to company policies, client specifications, and food safety standards Engage with Operations Managers and General Managers to provide feedback and track site performance Promote a culture of safety, hygiene, and professional conduct across all teams What youll need 35 years experience as a Trainer in Cleaning, Hospitality, or Food Safety Proven track record of facilitating operational, compliance, and skills-based training focused on food hygiene and safety Mandatory Food Safety certification (HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent) Knowledge of cleaning standards, chemicals, equipment, hygiene, and occupational safety practices Relevant Training / HR / Hospitality / Food Safety qualification (ETDP or similar advantageous) Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills Valid drivers license and own reliable transport (travel required) Computer literacy (MS Office, learning platforms) Clear criminal record What is in it for you?
