Hotel Financial Controller – Hotel based in Long Eaton We are seeking an experienced Hotel Financial Controller to lead the finance function at a hotel based in Long Eaton, part of a larger group of hotels. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled finance professional to take ownership of the finance function, lead a talented team, and ensure the smooth running of hotel operations from a financial perspective. As Hotel Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the full P&L, maintaining tidy balance sheets, and producing accurate month-end reports. You will also lead the budgeting process, collaborating closely with department heads to ensure financial targets are met. The successful candidate will bring proven team leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality sector, and be confident using systems like Opera and Sage Intacct. Previous experience in hotels, conferences, or accommodation management is highly desirable. Key responsibilities of the Hotel Financial Controller role include: Leading and developing a finance team to deliver consistent and accurate financial results. Managing daily finance operations across multiple sites within the hotel group. Producing month-end reports and full P&L statements. Driving the budgeting process and sharing financial insight across departments. Ensuring compliance and best practices in all financial processes.
