R&D Industrial Placement – 12-Month Opportunity (Newcastle, July 2026 Start) Our client, a global leader in consumer goods innovation, is seeking talented and motivated postgraduate scientists to join their Research & Development (R&D) team for a 12-month industrial placement starting in July 2026 . About the Company and Location The placement is based at the client’s Innovation Centre in Newcastle , a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing research in Fabric and Home Care products . The site plays a central role in product design and technology development, driving innovations that shape some of the world’s best-known consumer brands. The centre is easily accessible—approximately 15 minutes from the city centre and the North East coastline—with nearby public transport links and free on-site parking. The Role This is a hands-on role within the company’s Research & Development function , offering exposure to real-world projects and cutting-edge technology.
