Telemetry RN Job Details – Springfield, IL Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois healthcare jobs) Unit: Cardiac/Pulmonary (Telemetry) Unit Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel RN contract) Start Date: September 8, 2025 End Date: December 7, 2025 Shift: 12-hour day shifts (AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950–$2090 Employment Type: Travel nursing job Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and unrestricted Illinois RN license (Registered Nurse – Illinois) At least 1 year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN or on a Cardiac/Pulmonary unit Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and communication skills Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6-7 with support from 2 unit techs Willingness to work every other weekend as required Available to start by September 8, 2025 Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Cardiac/Pulmonary (Telemetry) unit Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and vital signs Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Collaborate with physicians, unit techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) Participate in unit meetings and quality improvement initiatives Why Choose Springfield, IL for Your Next Travel Nursing Assignment?
