Do you want to make Partner one day? As a junior Commercial Property Solicitor, you’ll need to build your career on solid foundations. This means gaining exposure to a full range of property deals: development, landlord & tenant, sales & acquisitions and property finance. Here, you’ll do it all. This Legal 500 ranked Manchester law firm are looking to hire a NQ-3 PQE Commercial Property Solicitor. They’re a team of 10, which is big enough to supervise and train you across all areas of commercial property – essential if you want to broaden your skillset; and small enough to give you direct exposure to clients and work autonomously – you won’t be there to just make up the numbers. Several members of the commercial property team have progressed through the ranks. Including one of the Partners themselves, who started as a Solicitor, before progressing to Associate, Senior Associate and Partner. You could do the same. You will have the chance to work with a broad range of clients - this will include national property developers, renewable energy companies and luxury hoteliers. These large deals often come with added complexity, which you’ll work on with supervision, while you’ll also be given the independence to work on more straightforward leases or sales on your own. It’s a social environment, where you’ll spend time with your colleagues that isn’t just work. Think padel tournaments with clients, pilates classes and evening drinks. All of which helps contribute to a positive and social team environment. Hybrid working as standard. The commercial property team go in every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
