Solicitor – EV (Legal Services Team) Location: West Midlands area (with hybrid flexibility) Salary: £60,000-£70,000 benefits Employment Type: Full-time, permanent About the Role My client, a leading UK business within the travel, leisure, and hospitality infrastructure sector , is seeking a Solicitor specialising in Electric Vehicle (EV) projects to join their in-house Legal Services Team. This is a key position supporting the Director of Legal Services and wider property and commercial teams, providing expert legal advice on EV infrastructure, property, and commercial matters. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Manage a broad range of legal matters, with a focus on EV and property-related work. Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders. Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documentation. Conduct legal research and maintain an up-to-date understanding of EV legislation and market developments. Support business development through networking, client engagement, and thought leadership. Contribute to departmental strategy and process improvement. Mentor junior team members and support professional growth within the team. Maintain accurate time and case management records in line with KPIs and compliance requirements. Candidate Profile Qualified Solicitor (minimum 3 years PQE) in England & Wales and/or Scotland. Strong background in EV law, property, or infrastructure projects . Commercially astute with experience in corporate and property transactions. Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset with high professional and ethical standards.
