Healthcare Job Details Location: Clearwater, Florida 33756 (Florida healthcare jobs) Setting: Cath Lab, Short-Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026 – End: 4/6/2026) Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30) Hours per Week: 40 Weekend Requirement: Yes On-Call Requirement: Yes (typically 1 weekend shift per 4 weeks and 7-9 call shifts per month) Charting: Cerner EMR (preferred) Scrub Color: Red Parking: Included Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2090 - $2140 Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience as a CT / Rad Tech Prior travel healthcare experience required National certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), RCIS Active Florida state license or compact license required Experience in community hospital and Trauma Level I settings preferred Proficient in scrub and EKG skills COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts) 100-mile radius rule applies (must reside at least 100 miles from facility) Permanent employees must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Key Responsibilities Perform advanced Cath Lab procedures: balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, rotablader athrectomy, and carotid stenting Accurately monitor patients and perform EKG lead placement Maintain sterile field and scrub for cardiac procedures Assist with diagnosis and treatment of chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension Operate Phillips Imaging Equipment and Xper systems (training provided) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Document procedures and patient care in Cerner EMR Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team in Clearwater, Florida and take the next step in your Cath Lab technologist career!
