Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location: Charleston, South Carolina 29407 Healthcare Setting: Leading medical facility Assignment Type: Travel nursing job Start Date: December 1, 2025 End Date: March 2, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts per week (06:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Hours per Week: 40 Schedule: No weekends, no call, no nights, and no major holidays Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,700–$1,820 per week PACU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact/multi-state license Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or Pre-Op nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Strong clinical skills in airway assessment, IV starts, medication reconciliation, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) PACU Nurse Responsibilities Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing medical history, reconciling medications, obtaining vital signs, and starting IVs Administer preoperative medications and fluids as ordered Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia, including vital sign monitoring and post-anesthesia assessments Provide clear discharge instructions and ensure safe patient discharge Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Care for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, interventional radiology, and GI procedure cases Maintain accurate and timely documentation Apply now to join our healthcare team in Charleston, SC and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
